Here are two screen shots from Drag Me To Hell, a horror thriller film from spring 2009. It is about a gypsy woman who curses a band worker for not giving her a loan. It is not exactly like my group's film, as it has nothing to do with tarot cards, but it is supernatural and therefore links in other ways. 
This is a shot of the gypsy from the film, she is dressed very creepily, and her different coloured eyes are very creepy to look at. This is what we were going for in our group; to make the fortune teller very scary to the audience.
This picture shows the gypsy with the button she curses the other lady with. It is like our film in the way that the victims who go to see the fortune teller seem to become cursed when they leave, as our opening credits show a girl visiting her and then the next thing she knew, she was dead!
These are our attempts at scary screen shots of the fortune teller. We tried to make it so that the audience would be creeped out by the close up of the eye, as it is a thriller opening after all! The close up of the cards is very effective, I think, as it conveys a certain sense of the fortune teller being sinister and having something planned.
